Scattered Storms

 A strong cold front will bring scattered showers and storms to the area on Tuesday. It should dry out for the middle of the week and the 4th of July looks great as well. 

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Scattered showers late. Low 68. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Tuesday: Partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High 92. SW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Some storms will bring damaging winds and heavy rain.  Heat index values up to 100. 

Tuesday night: Scattered showers and storms continue. Muggy with lows in the upper 60's. 

Wednesday: Areas of clouds in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 80's. 

Thursday: Partly sunny with a passing shower. Highs in the mid 80's. 

4th of July: Sunny and breezy. Highs around 80.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the 80's. 

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the 90's. 

The Week Ahead

 Monday will be another sunny day along with warm temps. A strong front will bring scattered severe storms on Tuesday afternoon. And it will remain warm thru the end of the week and the 4th of July on Friday looks pleasant at this early stage.

Monday: Any fog leads to mostly sunny skies. Highs near 83 in Boston and 90 inland. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Monday night: Partly to mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 60's. 

Tuesday: Partly sunny with a passing shower in the morning, then mostly cloudy with scattered showers and severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. Humid with highs around 90. 

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the upper 80's. 

Thursday: Showers and storms likely. Highs in the mid 80's. 

4th Of July: Sunny with highs in the low 80's. 

Tropics: TS Barry has formed in the Gulf and will track towards Mexico as a weak TS bringing flooding rains to that area.  I am also watching a cluster of storms near Florida that may develop over the next several days. 

Weekend Forecast

 Saturday will feature some showers, but it wont rain the entire day. Skies will clear for Sunday and temps will rebound early next week.

Monday: Sunny with highs around 90. 

Clearing Skies

 The sun should return on Friday along with temps near 70. A front will bring rain and storms to the area on Saturday before it dries out for Sunday. The heat will return early next week.

Cooler Times

 Cooler temps will finally come into the area along with a chance of rain. As temperatures will be held in the 60's over the next few days. It may warm up yet again early next week.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy and much cooler. Low 65. NE wind increasing to 15-25 MPH.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Near steady temps around 68. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Thursday night: Scattered showers. Lows in the upper 50's. 

Friday: Mainly cloudy and chilly. Highs in the mid 60's. 

Saturday: Rain likely. Highs in the upper 60's .

Sunday: Some clearing possible. Highs in the 80's. 

Extreme Heat Warning

The next few days will be very hot and humid leading to dangerous conditions. The peak of the heat will be on Tuesday as temps could eclipse 100 degrees-even in Boston!  And with high humidity factored in heat index values could be as high as 110! Please remember to take it easy over the next couple of days. The heat will finally break by Thursday.

Monday night: Clear and stuffy. Lows in the upper 70's. 

Tuesday: Sunny and very hot. Highs around 102! Heat index values as high as 110 expected! 

Wednesday: Sunny and turning cooler. Highs in the upper 80's early will fall to 80 by the end of the day. 

Thursday: Showers likely. Much cooler with highs around 70.

Friday: Temps could fall as low as the 60's along with showers. 

Extreme Heat Ahead

 Saturday will finally be dry along with temps in the 80's. Then high heat and humidity will come into the area for several days. The peak of the heat will be on Tuesday as high temps could surpass 100 degrees! And the heat index could approach 110.

Friday will be a very windy day along with cooler temps and lower humidity. Saturday looks mainly dry before showers and storms Saturday night. Sunday will be hot and the heat will build into early next week.

 Hot and Humid air will come into the area on Thursday along with a chance of a late day t-storm. Friday will be cooler and windy behind the front before it heats up again for the weekend.

 Clouds should break for some sun on Father's Day but it will remain cool with temperatures in the 60's. Temps will warm early next week and our next chance of rain doesn't arrive until the end of the forecast period.

Warming Up

 Skies will finally clear for the rest of the week along with warm temps. Wednesday and Thursday will be in the 80's and Friday should be in the 70's. More rain returns for the weekend.

Turning Hot

 Thursday will be hot and humid with a slight chance of a pop up afternoon storm. The front will move closer to the area on Friday leading to more widespread storms. Then the front will get stuck in the region on Saturday leading to more wet weather.
