Weekend Update

 A storm will bring downpours, thunder and gusty winds to the area on Saturday morning. Sunday will be cooler and windy before a major warmup next week. 

Boston forecast: 

Tonight: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Low 60. SE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Saturday: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. High 70. South wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Total rainfall around an inch. 

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with lows in the mid 50's.

Sunday: Sunny and windy. Highs in the mid 60's. 

Monday: Sunny with highs in the upper 70's. 

Tuesday: Sunny with highs in the 80's. 

Memorial Day Forecast

 Memorial Day will feature a mix of sun and clouds and temps nearing 70. There is also a chance of a passing shower, but most of the day will turn out to be dry. Then Tuesday and Wednesday look great before rain approaches by Thursday.

Tonight: Clearing with lows near 48 in Boston and 42 in the suburbs.  

Memorial Day: A mix of sun and clouds with a passing afternoon shower. Highs near 65 in Boston and 72 inland. East wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Monday night: Clear with lows in the low 50's. 

Tuesday: Sunny and nice. Highs in the mid 70's .

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the upper 70's .

Thursday:  Rain likely. Highs around 70.  

Friday: Showers and storms likely. Highs in the 60's. 

Holiday Weekend Forecast

 After the nor'easter dropped several inches of rain, the rain will end this evening as the last part of the storm moves thru. Saturday will be a little better with some sun and maybe a shower. Sunday will be better still with more sun and the holiday will the pick of the long weekend.

Saturday:  A mix of sun and clouds with scattered showers. High 60. West wind of 10-20 MPH.

Sunday: Partly sunny with highs in the low 60's. 

Memorial Day: Sunny with highs in the upper 60's. 

Tuesday: Sunny with highs in the 70's. 

Nor'easter Update

 A powerful spring nor'easter will impact the area on Thursday. It will bring heavy rain, damaging winds and even some coastal flooding. The height of the storm will be Thursday afternoon and evening. It should slowly wind down by Friday morning. 

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Cloud with near steady temps around 48. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Wednesday: Mainly cloudy with areas of drizzle. High 53. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Wednesday night: Scattered showers. Lows in the upper 40's. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Thursday: Rain in the morning, then heavy rain in the afternoon. Windy with temps holding in the upper 40's. NE wind increasing to 25-35 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Thursday night: Heavy rain and strong winds. Temps steady in the upper 40's. NE wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Total rainfall of 2-3 inches. 

Friday: Scattered showers and still cool. Highs in the mid 50's. 

Saturday: Cloudy with a passing shower. Highs in the upper 50's. 

Sunday: Some clearing possible. Highs in the 60's .

Memorial Day: Sunny with highs in the upper 60's. 

Nor'easter Thursday

The next few days will be cloudy and chilly. Then a powerful nor'easter will bring rain and strong winds to the area on Thursday into Thursday night. As temps will be held in the 40's. It should dry out for the long holiday weekend.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy and chilly. High 55. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Tuesday night: Cloudy with lows in the mid 40's. 

Wednesday: Cloudy with highs around 50. 

Thursday: Heavy rain and strong winds. Highs in the upper 40's. Stay tuned!

 A front will bring scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm on Saturday. Sunday will be a bit better with only a small risk of rain. Early next week is dry before a spring nor'easter arrives late next week.

More Humid

 A few showers are likely overnight tonight and into parts of Thursday as a weak front comes thru. Friday should be mainly dry before more wet weather for the weekend.

Thursday:  A mix of sun and clouds with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High 73. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Thursday night: Parly to mostly cloudy with areas of fog. Lows in the mid 50's .

Friday: Partly sunny and warm. More humid with highs around 80. 

Saturday; PM storms likely. Humid with highs in the mid 70's. 

Sunday: Showers possible. Highs in the mid 70's. 

The Week Ahead

 The week will start off chilly, but nice as High Pressure remains in control. But rain may approach by the end of the week as another storm approaches.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms and thanks for checking out my blog! The weather will turn out great as skies will clear and temps will approach 70 degrees. Then Sunday night will be cold with a chance of frost in the suburbs before a warmup early next week.

Mother's Day:    Mostly sunny with a high of 70. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. 

Sunday night: Clear and cold. Lows in the mid 40's in Boston, but mid 30's with sone frost in the suburbs. 

Monday: Sunny with highs in the mid 70's. 

Tuesday:  Sunny with highs in the mid 70's .

Wednesday: Rain likely. Highs in the 60's.

 Thursday will be a mostly dry day with some sun and a passing shower. Then a storm will come up the coast on Friday leading to inches of rain and some wind. It should dry out over the weekend.
