 Halloween will be a very warm day with temps nearing the record high of 81. The warmth will last through Friday, but the wind will increase ahead of a cold front. The front will bring a cooler but dry weekend. Rain is possible early next week.

Forecast Update

Clouds will increase on Tuesday ahead of our next rain chance. Showers are likely on Tuesday night as warm front comes through. Temps will then be off to the races on Wednesday and Halloween with record highs possible on the Holiday.

Saturday will be another nice  day but with a gusty wind. Sunday will be much cooler as a front crosses the area on Saturday night. It will remain dry through  early next week.

Weekend Forecast

 Friday will be a cooler day along with sunny skies. The dry weather will continue thru the weekend but temps will fall into the 50's for highs. And it will drop below freezing at night as well. Another major warmup is expected next week.

Record Highs Possible

 Record highs are possible on Monday as High Pressure remains in control. It will remain sunny and warm thru Wednesday before a strong cold front brings showers and a gusty wind on Thursday. Temps will cool behind the front.

Tonight: Clear with a low of 53. 

Monday: Sunny with a high of 80. SW wind of 10-20 MPH. The record to beat is 82.

Monday night: Clear with lows in the mid 50's. 

Tuesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 70's. 

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the upper 70's. 

Thursday; Showers and wind early, then clearing. Highs around 60. 

Friday: Sunny and much cooler. Highs in the low 50's. 

Tropics: Hurricane Oscar now has winds of 75 MPH as it makes landfall along the coast of Cuba. It is forecast to move slowly over the Bahamas during the next few days before turning sharply out to sea from there.

 A stellar stretch of weather is ahead as high pressure takes control. Saturday will feature temps near 70 along with full sunshine. Sunday will be a bit warmer before temps peak on Monday.

 After a cold night tonight temps will rebound into the mid to upper 50's on Thursday. Friday will also be nice before temps soar back into the 70's for several days.

 The next few days will be dry and chilly along with a gusty wind. Then as High Pressure slips offshore warm air will come into the area for several days. And it will remain dry for the extended period also.

The Week Ahead

 Rain will continue overnight as an area of low pressure comes thru. After the low pasts the area on Monday afternoon the wind will pick up and the temps will fall. As winds chills could be below freezing by Tuesday morning. More chilly weather is expected later in the week as well along with frost at night in most of the area.

Showers Ahead

 Showers will come into the area on Sunday along with cool conditions. The showers will last thru the Holiday on  Monday before drying out on Tuesday. Temps will fall behind the front and frost is likely early next week.

Milton Update

 Major Hurricane Milton has made landfall tonight on the West coast of Florida. It has brought major effects to the area. Stay tuned on the magnitude of the damage over the next several days. Here in Boston Thursday looks cool and windy before we warmup heading into the weekend.

Intense Hurricane Update

 Hurricane Milton has dramatically intensified over the last 36 hours to a Category 5 Hurricane with winds of 165 MPH! It will head towards Tampa Bay and bring flooding rains,  catastrophic winds and high storm surge. All our thoughts and prayers are with  the people of the West coast of Florida.

Hurricane Milton

 Hurricane Milton has formed in the Gulf of Mexico. It is expected to become a  dangerous major Hurricane over the next few days. IT will track towards Tampa Bay and will bring life threatening wind, rain and storm surge. It will then cross Florida and head off the East Coast and out to sea.

Tonight: Increasing clouds with rain late. Low 53. South wind of 10-20 MPH.. 

Monday: Rain with scattered thunderstorms in the morning then scattered showers in the afternoon. High 63. SE wind of 15-25 MPH. Total rainfall of .5-.75 inches. 

Monday night: Clearing with lows in the upper 40s. 

Tuesday: Sunny with highs in the low 60s. 

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the low 60's. Frost is likely at night. Stay tuned!

Warm Days

 Thursday will be a warmer day with sunny skies. The warmest day of the next several will be on Friday as temps approach 80 degrees. Although a shower is possible early on Saturday, most of the upcoming weekend looks nice.

Tropics: Hurricane Kirk is expected to become a major Hurricane over the open Atlantic and will remain well out at sea over the next several days.
