 Saturday will be warmer and more humid as a front approaches. Then scattered showers  and storms are likely Saturday night into Sunday. Labor Day looks good at this point.

Cooling Off

 Cooler days are ahead as a front crosses the area. As temps that were near 90 earlier this afternoon will crash into the 50's overnight. Cooler days will remain thru the long holiday weekend as well. However, rain is also a probability  as well.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and cooler. High 70. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.

 Tuesday will be a nice day with sunny skies and comfy temps. Heat and humidity will rise on Wednesday leading to more showers and storms. Cooler air will come into the area behind the front.

A Dry Weekend

 Saturday will be another great day with sunny skies and warm temps. The humidity will increase a little on Sunday ahead of our next front on Monday. That front will bring scattered showers and storms.

 A nice w8eekend is in store with sunny skies and nice temps. Friday will be fabulous with sunny skies, warm temps and low humidity. The temps and humidity will increase over the weekend.

One More

 Thursday will be similar to today with sunny skies and cool temps. Temps will rebound on Friday and  continue to rise thru the weekend. It should stay dry for the weekend as well.

Below Normal

 Below normal temps will rule the next few days as the jet stream dips to our south. As most suburbs will drop into the 40's both tonight and  Wednesday night. During the  day on  Wednesday an upper level  low will bring scattered showers and  storms in the afternoon. Some storms may bring small hail. Thursday  will also be cool before temps warm again by the weekend.

Tonight: Clearing and chilly. Lows near 55 in Boston and 48 in the suburbs. 

Wednesday: Mostly sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High 70. NW wind of 15-25 MPH. Some storms will bring gusty winds and hail. 

Wednesday night: Clearing with lows in the low 50's. 

Thursday; Partly sunny with a passing shower or storm. Still cool with highs around 70.

 Friday: Sunny with low humidity. Highs around 80.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the mid 80's.

Weekend Update

 Sunday will be a mostly cloudy day with a chance of a shower. Then a frontal system will bring more widespread rains to the area Monday into Tuesday with over an inch of rain possible. Below normal temps are possible behind the front.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a passing shower. Areas of fog with a high of 75. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Sunday night: A shower early, then showers with downpours late. Lows in the mid 60's. 

Monday: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 70's. 

Tuesday: Showers and breezy. Cool with highs in the upper 60's.  Total rainfall of 1-2 inches. 

Wednesday: Sunny and cool. Highs in the 60's. 40's are possible at night in parts of the area. Stay tuned! 

Hurricane Ernesto: It now has winds of 75 MPH as it now moves north of Bermuda. It will track close to Newfoundland before moving into the North Atlantic. 

15 Years Of My Blog!

 I have reached 15 years of my blog and I plan on continuing writing as often as I can. I really do enjoy writing it every day and appreciate all the readership over the years! And as always feel free to leave any questions you may have in the comments section. As for the weather the weekend will be dry before a strong cold front arrives on Monday.

Weekend Forecast

 Friday will be a dry day, but smoke from distant wildfires will dominate the sky. The weekend looks mainly dry before rain arrives on Monday with a strong cold front. That front will push Hurricane Ernesto out to sea.

Monday; Rain and wind likely-from a front as Ernesto heads well to our east. Highs around 70. 

Hurricane Ernesto

 Hurricane Ernesto now has winds of 80 MPH as it heads away from Puerto Rico this evening. It will track towards Bermuda as a major Hurricane by Saturday where a Hurricane Watch is in effect. Then it should pass well to our east before impacting Atlantic Canada. However, the storm will bring rough surf and rip currents to our beaches this weekend into early next week.

Tonight: Clear with lows near 67 in Boston and 58 in the suburbs. 

Thursday: Partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Smoky with highs near 78 in Boston and 85 inland. East wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Thursday night: Showers and storms ending with lows in the mid 60's. 

Friday: Sunny with highs around 80.

Saturday: Increasing clouds with highs in the low 80's.

 Tuesday will be a great day after a cool start. Wednesday will also be nice before a shower chance by Thursday. Then Ernesto will make a close pass to the area by late this weekend.

A Great Stretch Of Weather

 The next several days will feature great Summer weather with comfy temps and dry weather. The nice weather should last for most of the week before  we watch yet another tropical system by next weekend. Stay tuned for further updates.

Remains Of Debby Forecast

 What is left of Debby will come up the coast bringing downpours, scattered thunderstorms and a gusty wind on Friday night. It will be a quick mover so it will clear out for the weekend. Temps will remain in the low to mid 80's along with low humidity well into next week.

Tonight: Scattered showers. Areas of fog with temps holding around 65. East wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Friday: Mostly cloudy in the morning with scattered  showers, then partly sunny with scattered downpours in the afternoon. Very humid with a high of 83. SE wind increasing to 15-25  MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. 

Friday night; Downpours with scattered severe thunderstorms. Humid and windy with temps in the mid 70's. SE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Some storms may produce high winds and isolated tornadoes. 

Saturday: Any showers end by 9 AM, then rapid clearing. Highs in the mid 80's. 

Sunday: Sunny with highs around 80.

Monday; Sunny with highs in in the 80's. 

Storm Update

 It now appears that the height of the  storm will pass to our west leading to just scattered showers and a breeze. And it will be  also moving faster than expected-clearing out for most of the weekend.

Track Shift

 The latest track has shifted to the NW of us, putting the heaviest rain to our west. However, that puts us on the windy side of the storm. The height of the storm appears to be Friday afternoon to Saturday morning.

Tonight: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Near steady temps around 65. NE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Wednesday :Rain in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. High 68. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. Total rainfall around an inch.

Thursday: Partly sunny with highs in the low 70's. 

Friday: The remains of Debby impact the area. Highs in the 70's. Stay tuned for exact timeline tomorrow!

Tracking Debby

 Tropical Storm Debby will come up the coast and impact the area late Friday into Saturday. It appears that inches of rain is likely along with gusty winds. Until then some rain is likely Tuesday morning and again during Wednesday morning.

Tuesday; Showers with thunderstorms in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. High 75. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday: Showers in the morning, then partly sunny late. Highs in the upper 60's.

Friday: TS Debby impacts starts with rain and wind arriving in the afternoon. Highs in the 70's. Stay tuned! 

Saturday: The height of the storm hits with downpours and strong winds. Highs in the 70's.

TS Debby

 A stalled front will bring scattered showers and storms to the area on Sunday afternoon and evening. Monday will be another hot and humid day before a front approaches the area by Tuesday. And the latest on TS Debby is that will stall off the SE coast first and then turn northeast towards New England, but not until next weekend. And while flooding rain appears likely at this stage, the core of the wind could stay offshore. Stay tuned for updates during the week.

Sunday: Partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Humid with a high 87. SW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30  MPH.

Monday; Hazy, hot and humid. Highs in the low 90's.

Extended: It seems that Debby will stall over the Carolinas at the end of next week before finally turning north  and making a close pass by next weekend. Stay tuned!

 Most of Saturday now appears to be dry, but it will still be hot and humid.  A front will bring more scattered showers and storms to the  area on Sunday. Early next week will continue to be hot before we watch Tropical Cyclone Debby possibly make a trip up the East Coast late next week.
