A snowstorm will hit the area on Friday. However, it still unclear on how far north the sleet will make it. At this point I do expect that Boston will mix with some sleet for a short period of time cutting back a little on snow totals. However, a thump of snow is still expected before any mixing. So, a major Winter Storm is still expected.

Thursday night: Snow after midnight. Lows in the mid 20's.. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.
Friday; Heavy snows in the morning, then a mix of snow and sleet in the afternoon. Highs in the low 30's. Total snow amounts of 7-10 inches in Boston
Saturday: Sunny with highs in the mid 30's .
Sunday; Partly sunny with highs in the 30's. S
