A cool and wet Holiday weekend is in store as a front stalled near the area produces periods of rain. The heaviest rain will fall overnight tonight into Friday. Then, more chilly rain is likely on Saturday and some clearing is possible by the 4th.

Tonight: Rain. Low 60. East wind of 10-20 MPH.
Friday; Rain in the morning, then scattered showers in the afternoon. High 65. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.
Friday night: Showers. Lows in the upper 50's. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.
Saturday; Periods of rain. Temps holding in the upper 50's! NE wind of 15-25 MPH. Total rainfall of 2-3 inches.
4th of July: Some afternoon clearing possible. Highs in the mid 60's.
Monday; Sunny with highs in the low 80's.
Tropics; TS Elsa now has winds of 45 MPH in the Central Atlantic. It is expected to track through the Caribbean over the next few days. Then may make a close pass to the US coast by the end of next week. Stay tuned for more details as it nears the US mainland!
