Still Hot

 Tuesday will be another hot and humid day along with sunny skies. A front may finally bring showers and storms by Wednesday. And the front looks to finally deliver cooler air by the end of the week.

Extended Heatwave Ahead

 Sunday will be the start of the heatwave along with high humidity. As temps will soar into the 90's over the next couple of days. The hottest day appears to be Tuesday as temps rise into the upper 90's. And a cold front may not approach the region till the end of the week.

US Weather; Temps in Seattle are forecast to hit 110 on Monday breaking the all time record of 103.  And temps in Portland, OR are expected to rise to 120 breaking the all time record there also.

 A weak area of low pressure will bring scattered showers to the area on Friday morning. Then heat and humidity will come into the region for the weekend into next week.

 The front will finally clear the area leading to a few days of nice weather. As temps will end up near normal along with low humidity and sunny skies.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's day to all the Dad's. It will be a warm day along with sunny skies.  Then we will watch  Tropical Depression Claudette which now has wind of 30 MPH near the SE US. It will track near the coast of North Carolina by Monday and then turn NE and up the coast while strengthening into a Tropical Storm once again. It will make a very close pass to New England on Monday night into early Tuesday.

Father's Day Weekend Forecast

A cold front will close in on the region on Saturday afternoon leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms. Father's Day looks great, but warm along with sunny skies. Then after a hot Monday the remains of a storm in the Gulf Of Mexico should make a very close pass to the coast on Tuesday.

Tropical Storm Bill

 Tropical Storm Bill has formed off the coast of North Carolina this evening with winds of 45 MPH. It is expected to track NE and well off the New England coast on Tuesday, as a front coming through the region will push it out to sea. Behind the front dry air will come into the area.

Partial Solar Eclipse Details

 A partial solar eclipse is going to occur in the Boston area on Thursday morning. It will be 73% of a whole eclipse. IT will start at 507 AM and end at 637 AM. The best viewing is around 533 AM. And, you want to look east with no buildings or trees in the way of the horizon And, you must wear eye protection. Finally, skies look to to be mainly clear for the event. Have fun and stay safe if you are planning to view it!

 It now appears that the cold front will be a bit delayed and the front will come through on Wednesday leading to another hot day. On Thursday we will be having a partial solar eclipse around sunrise. It looks to be partly cloudy-leading to good viewing.
