 Thursday is opening day at Fenway Park for the Red Sox and it appears they will be able to get the game in at about 2 PM. As the rain that is expected to fall overnight and into the morning before tapering to mist and drizzle.

US Weather; The longest tornado on record occurred in the southern US on Thursday with a track of 217 miles! And, a EF1 tornado was spotted in Middlebury, Vermont on Friday with winds of 110 MPH! Only the second tornado ever to happen in March in the state of Vermont.

 A powerful storm will bring rain, wind and maybe even a thunderstorm to the area on Friday. On Saturday it will dry out and it will be the pick of the weekend. As another storm will bring a chilly rain on Sunday.

 An area of low pressure off the North Carolina coast will come into New England on Wednesday night. Then, record warmth is likely on Thursday before more rain and wind on Friday.

Snow Update

 Rain should still change to snow before ending but it won't amount to much. As, the cold air will not arrive in time. The snow will end before dawn and the sun will return. High pressure will then take control for the weekend.

Warmer Wednesday

 Wednesday will be a warmer day along with some sun. Then a storm will bring rain changing to snow Thursday afternoon into Friday The rain will arrive Thursday afternoon and will continue overnight. But, as colder air comes down from the north rain will change to heavy snow.  The snow should end around midday Friday. Some accumulation appears likely.

Earthquake: A magnitude 8.1 earthquake hit New Zealand this afternoon. Tsunamis Warnings were issued all over the Pacific. Thankfully, no major damage  was reported.
