Wild Sunday Forecast

A strong low pressure system will bring heavy snow and damaging winds on Sunday morning. Rain will change to snow and come down heavily during the first half of the morning. And even some thunder snow is possible. The wind will last through the rest of the day. And, another storm will bring accumulating snow on Monday.

Alerts:

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 11 AM Sunday for all of the Boston area.

A High Wind Warning is in effect for all of Sunday for all of MA!

A Hurricane Force Wind Warning is in effect for the ocean.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Rain showers changing to snow late. Low 35. West wind of 15-25 MPH.

Sunday: Heavy snow until 10 AM, then partly sunny. Damaging winds with a high of 37. NW wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH. Total snow amounts of 2-4 inches expected. 

Sunday night: Partial clearing and windy. Lows in the mid 20's. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Monday: Periods of snow. Highs in the low 30's. Total snow amounts of 3-5 inches possible. Stay tuned because this could change.

Tuesday: Sunny and very cold. Highs in the low 30's.
