Several inches of snow fell in the Boston area today and made for a beautiful scene late today. Now skies will clear for the weekend and some melting is expected as temps rise above freezing. Then another major storm is possible on Monday.

Boston forecast:
Tonight: Clear and very cold. Low 18. NW wind of 15-25 MPH.
Saturday: A mix of sun and clouds. High 37. SW wind of 15-25 MPH.
Saturday night: Clear with lows in the mid 20's.
Sunday: Mostly sunny with highs around 40.
Monday: Watching a powerful storm-at this point some snow is likely. Highs in the upper 20's. Stay tuned!
Tuesday: More snow possible. Highs in the 20's.
