SPECIAL: July 4th Weekend New England Forecast

The weather throughout New England looks pretty good for the 4th of July long weekend. On Friday it will be sunny throughout New England as high pressure takes control. However, an area of low pressure will make a close pass to the area on July 4th, and that may produce a shower on the Cape and Islands. In northern New England it will be sunny on the 4th. Then Sunday looks great throughout most of the area.

Boston weekend forecast: 

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy. Low 63.

Friday: Mostly sunny and nice. Highs near 77 in Boston and 83 inland. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with lows around 60.

4th Of July: Mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 70's.

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with evening temps in the 70's and lows in the 60's.

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the low 80's.

Cape and Islands 4th July Weekend Forecast :

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a passing shower. Lows around 60.

Friday: Partly to mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70's. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Friday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the 50's.

4th Of July: Cloudy with a shower possible in the afternoon. Highs around 70.

Saturday night: Any showers fade, then mostly cloudy. Lows in the 50's.

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the mid 70's.

Northern Lakes and Mountains 4th of July Weekend forecast:

Tonight: Clear with lows in the 40's.

Friday: Sunny with highs in the mid 70's. NE wind of 10-15 MPH.

Friday night: Clear with lows in the 40's.

4th of July: Partly to mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70's.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with temps in the 50's.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a small risk of a shower across the far north. Highs in the 70's.
