Wet Times

The next few days will be wet as back to back areas of low pressure hit the area. On Tuesday the rain will be steadiest in the morning, then will taper to showers in the afternoon. On Wednesday the height of rain and wind will be in the afternoon or evening. And on Christmas Day rain will continue into the morning hours, before the sun peaks out in the afternoon.

A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for the coastline-including Boston


Boston forecast:

Tonight: Occasional rain showers. Low 37. East wind of 10-20 MPH.


Tuesday: Rain showers in the morning, then scattered showers in the afternoon. High 45. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.


Tuesday night: Scattered showers continue. Lows around 40. East wind of 10-20 MPH.


 Wednesday: Showers in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50's. SE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Christmas Eve: Heavy rain. Temps holding in the 50's. SE wind of 25-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Christmas Day: Rain ending in the morning, then partial clearing. Warm with highs around 60.


Friday: Sunny with highs in the mid 50's.
