The Week Ahead

A storm will pass to our west on Monday leading to warm and wind driven rain. The rain will be heaviest in the morning before tapering off in the afternoon. Tuesday will be dry before a powerful nor'easter likely hits the area late on Wednesday. It is too early for exact details, so stay tuned for more as we get closer. And, it should dry out for Thanksgiving day.

Alerts:

A Wind Advisory is in effect south of Boston.

A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for the Cape and Islands.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Increasing clouds until 5 AM, then rain. Low 43. South wind of 10-20 MPH.

Monday: Rain in the morning, then mostly cloudy with scattered showers in the afternoon. High 67. South wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Monday night: Partly to mostly cloudy with lows in the low 50's.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 50's .

Wednesday: A powerful nor'easter likely hits the area. Highs in the 30's. Stay tuned!

Thanksgiving Day: Clearing and still cold. Highs in the 30's.

Friday: Sunny with highs in the 30's.
