Storm Update

Rain will continue off and on through Sunday morning. And as colder air works in it will mix with snow at times. But, no accumulation is expected. Also, the wind will continue to increase through the day on Sunday. Clearing will come into the area on Monday and temps will rise to near 50. Sunny skies will last through midweek.

Alerts:

 A High Wind Warning is in effect for the north and south shores, Cape and Islands.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the rest of the Boston area.

A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for the Coast.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Periods of rain mixing with snow late. Low 35. North wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Set your clocks back 1 hour at 2 AM. No snow accumulation expected in Boston.

Sunday: Rain and snow in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. High 40. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Sun sets at 436 PM.

Sunday night: Clearing and very cold. Lows around 30. NW wind of 15-25 MPH.

Monday: Mostly sunny with highs around 50.

Election Day; Sunny with highs in the upper 50's.

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the 60's.

US Weather: Snow hit parts of the SE US on Friday as colder air came into the area.
