A major winter storm will hit New England on Wednesday. The height of the storm will be from dawn through early afternoon, when snow rates could reach 1-2 inches per hour. Also, unlike past storms the snow will be heavy and wet in most of the area. And, it now looks like it could end as some sleet in Boston, but after most of the snow has fallen. Further North and West of the city will stay all snow meaning the highest snow totals will be there. However, there will be little coastal flooding with this storm.

You got this storm timeline exactly right! But it's just 3pm so can't report on the rest of the day yet. Trying to figure out if roads are clear for driving.
