A powerful nor'easter will hit the area with heavy snow and strong winds. And it now appears that the storm will track closer to the area and around a foot of snow is now expected. The snow will start tonight and last into Friday midday. But the height of the storm will be Thursday night thru Friday morning when near blizzard conditions are expected. And, moderate coastal flooding is likely along the coast.

Wow! it's really snowing. Wonder if it will be plowed enough for our New Year's walk in Franklin Park on Saturday. Know it will be cold, but we've had it in single digits before!
