700TH Post!!!-Storm Timeline

It now appears that the heaviest snow will fall south of the city. Also temps will be marginal, so it will take some time for it to stick to sidewalks. As cold air comes down from the north it will start to add up on the city streets. Arctic air will come down for Sunday.
Alerts: A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Boston area until 8 PM Saturday.

7AM: Snow arrives in Boston. Temp 34
10AM-2 PM: Steady snow-most of accumulation falls during this time. Temp 32
3PM: Snow tapers to snow showers. Temp 31.
5PM: Snow ends-temp 28.

North shifting to NW at 15-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Snow Totals: Inches
2-4: The Boston area. About 3 inches in JP.
