A powerful storm will come in from the SW and cross right thru the area on Wednesday. Heavy rain will fall-especially in the morning, before tapering off in the afternoon. Clearing will come into the area for Thanksgiving day, but it will be chilly and windy.
Alerts: A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Northern New England-including here at PSU. 6+ inches of snow is likely there.
Boston, MA forecast:
Tonight: Clear and cold. Lows near 35 in Boston, 32 in JP and 25 in the suburbs.
Tuesday: Sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. High 47. East wind around 10 MPH.
Tuesday night: Cloudy in the evening, the rain after midnight. Low 40. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.
Wednesday: Heavy rain in the morning, then scattered showers in the afternoon. Windy with highs in the low 50's. SE wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Total rainfall of 1-2 inches expected.
Thanksgiving Day: Sunny and windy. Highs in the mid 40's.
Friday: Sunny and warmer highs around 60!
