As the Precip set in this afternoon temps nearly 10 degrees in a hour or 2. It was an a quite a sight to see. Snow will continue to mix with rain this evening, and will have a tough time sticking to roads this evening. However, later tonight the snow will come down harder and will stick to roads and sidewalks. Pinning down snow amounts is very tough. The track has shifted to SE today, but not quite enough to have all snow all the way to the shore. But, just a slight shift in conditions or track could bring heavy, wet snowright to Boston or the coast. At this point I still think a good thumping of snow will fall JUST west and NW of the city- with another jackpot NW of Worcester. Something like 6 inches could fall as close as places such as Weston or Lexington. JP is also a very tough call- but a few inches seem likely.
