400th Post!!!

This is my 400th post since I have started my blog. Thanks for checking out my blog during this busy winter. The snow today dried up as it entered the area, so most did not not get more than a few flurries. Tomorrow I am headed back to PSU for spring classes, including Climatology. I will continue to blog about the Boston weather while I am there, just like I did during the Fall semester. This week we will have a weak snow event on Tuesday giving us a few inches, then a bigger, but a messy storm on Wednesday.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Partial clearing with lows near 24 in Boston, 22 in JP and 15 in the suburbs.

Sunday: I head back to college. A mix of sun and clouds with a high of 32. West wind of 10-20 MPH.

Sunday night: Clear with lows around 10 in Boston and single digits in the suburbs.

Monday: Sunny and cold with highs in the low 20's.

Tuesday: Snow arriving in the mid morning and lasting thru the rest of the day. Highs in the mid 20's. At this point a few inches are likely. Stay tuned.

Wednesday: A powerful storm will effect the area with heavy precip and strong winds. Highs around freezing. Stay tuned for updates from Plymouth, NH!

Tropics: Tropical Storm Bianca will effect Perth, Australia with heavy rain and gusty winds over the next day or so. Of course, it is now summer in the southern Hemisphere. The North coast of Australia gets Tropical Cyclones often, however, the West coast where Perth is it is not as common.
