A Mix

A large and powerful coastal storm will back towards New England on Monday providing the area with a windswept wintry mix and then rainstorm. Some wet snow will mix in first thing in the morning, before changing to all rain. No snow accumulation is expected in Boston. Winds may gust to 40-50 MPH along the coast, including the city through the morning. The rain will last through Tuesday morning, although it won't be pouring the whole time. On Wednesday the remains of Tomas will come close to New England, and it may give us another rain event as it combines with a low offshore. Warm air will try to come into New England at the end of the week, but it will have a hard time reaching the coast.

  1. Don't mean to pour it on, but it was really nice here in Denver today! 70's sunny. Back home tomorrow; glad I missed the action.
