Rain Update

The storm is much slower than anyone anticipated, so the rain is still an hour and half to two hours away from Boston. Skies became mostly sunny for some time early this afternoon, but now clouds are filling back in. The rain will start of light, but gradually pick up in intensity. Unfortunately, the rain may arrive right around the start of my brother's game, if it has not already started. The rain will continue most of the night, before tapering off Tomorrow morning, Bring the rain gear to the game, if you are going.

A full forecast for the rest of the week later.

  1. Be sure to post about weather for Saturday, May 1st - Wake up the Earth Festival in JP and the 20th anniversary of the Southwest Corridor Park. The park was the result of JP and Roxbury residents fighting to keep an interstate highway out of the neighborhood. (I think it's the current 93 which divides Dorchester ... so they got it and we didn't) - not a completely equitable win. This may be more of a NIMBY (Not in My Backyard) win.
