Today was cooler than yesterday as temps at this time today are about 30 degrees cooler than they were yesterday. Monday will be cloudy with showers off and on throughout the day as the nor'easter comes closer. Then, a soaking rain will arrive Monday evening and continue through Tuesday. Then, a strong cold front will come through at the end of the week as arctic air invades the region.

Monday: Scattered showers in the morning, then showers increasing in coverage by 5 PM. Highs in the low 50's. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.
Monday night: Heavy rain. Lows in the mid 40's. NE winds of 15-25 MPH.
Tuesday: Heavy rain in the morning, then showers in the afternoon. Near steady temps in the mid and upper 40's. NE wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Tuesday night: Showers becoming more scattered as temps drop to around 40. NE wind of 10-20 MPH. Total rain amounts of 1-3 inches will create some minor flooding.
Wednesday: Clearing, highs in the low to mid 50's.
Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy, with highs in the low 50's.
Friday: A chance of rain or snow early, then clearing and cold. Highs in the low 40's. More details on this later.
Back to late winter weather! In D.C. this weekend it was high 70s and 80s, warm even into the evening after it got dark. A few magnolia trees about to bloom and daffodils were out, but no cherry blossoms yet. Lots of for and against health care and peace protesters!
