SPECIAL: 2024-2025 Winter Forecast

 After a couple snowless winters I expect that we get more snow this Winter. It will start chilly in December with snow and will continue off and on throughout the next few months. I also predict that storms will track to our west some as well pulling mild air up from the South leading to some rainstorms as well. By the end of March I expect to have near normal snowfall.

A Cold Weekend

 It will be a cold but dry weekend as high pressure takes control. It will remain dry and cold thru Wednesday before a chance of snow by Wednesday night into Thursday. Stay tuned for updates over the next few days.

Thanksgiving Storm Forecast

 After a sunny Wednesday a coastal storm will impact the area on the holiday. It will bring rain, snow and wind to the area. Mainly rain is expected in Boston with maybe ending as a little snow with no accumulation. More snowfall will occur well NW of Boston especially in the higher elevations. 

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Areas of freezing fog and freezing drizzle. Low 32. 

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high of 47. West wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night: Increasing clouds early, then a mix of rain and wet snow late. Lows in the mid 30's. East wind of 15-25 MPH.

Thanksgiving Day; Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Rain and wind- that may end as a few flakes late.  Highs in the mid 40's. East wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Thursday night: Precip ends. Lows in the low 30's .

Friday; Sunny with highs in the low 40's. 

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the upper 30's. 

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the mid 30's. 

Two Storms Ahead

The first storm will come thru on Tuesday with periods of rain. Then after a break on Wednesday a more impactful storm will hit the area on Thanksgiving  day.  It will bring rain, snow and wind during the day on Thursday. It seems to be a mainly cold rain event in Boston with snow confined to the higher elevations.

Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 35. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Tuesday: Periods of rain. High 50. SE wind of 15-25 MPH. Total rainfall around a quarter of an  inch. 

Tuesday night: Clear with lows in the low 30's. 

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 40's. 

Thanksgiving Day: A cold rain with wind likely. Highs in the mid 40's. Stay tuned!

Weekend Update

 Skies will clear for Sunday but it will be windy. Monday will also be dry before rain showers on Tuesday.  It looks dry into Thanksgiving but there will likely be a storm by the end of the week. Stay tuned for updates over the next several days.

Windy Weekend

 The storm will continue to effect us on Saturday. As waves of wind and rain will impact the region. Clouds will break on Sunday but it will remain windy. Dry weather will last into Monday before a chance of rain by Tuesday.

Saturday: Periods of rain and windy. Near steady temps around 45. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Total additional rainfall around an inch.

 A storm will bring preip and wind to the area over the next few days. Thursday will feature all rain with strong east winds. Then a storm deepens to our east cold air could bring some snow to the area. Stay tuned over the next few days!

 Sunday will be another nice day with sunny skies and temps in the 60's. It will remain dry thru Wednesday before  we watch a potential storm by Thursday.

Weekend Forecast

 Temps will rebound over the next few days. After a cold start Friday will be in the mid to upper 50's. Over the weekend it will be near 60 along with a gusty wind. And the dry weather rolls on as we continue to look for widespread rain.

Cold Days

 A cold stretch of weather is ahead as High Pressure takes control. Temps will start out below freezing and will only reach the low to  mid 40's over the next few days. Temps will moderate a bit over the weekend.

Tonight: Clear and cold. Lows near 32 in Boston and 25 in the suburbs. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 18 late. 

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high of 45. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 18 early. 

Wednesday night: Clear and very cold. Lows in the mid 20's. 

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the low 40's. 

Friday: Partly sunny with highs in the upper 40's.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the 50's. 

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the 50's. 

Tropics: Sara is expected  to form in the Caribbean and will track towards the Gulf of Mexico as a major hurricane. Stay tuned!

 A cold front will finally bring some rain, but it won't amount to much. Skies will clear for the Veterans Day along with above normal temps. A secondary cold front will cross the area on Tuesday morning leading to a colder and windy mid week.

Veterans Day: Becoming  mostly sunny. High 68. SW wind of 10-20 MPH  with gusts to 30 MPH. 

Monday night: Clearing with lows in the low 40's. Wind changing to NW at 15-25 MPH.

Tuesday: Sunny and windy. Highs in the low 50's. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Tuesday night: Clear and cold. Lows around freezing. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 17  late. 

Wednesday: Sunny and chilly. Highs in the mid 40's .

Thursday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 40's. 

Friday: Rain possible. Highs in the 40's .

Tropics: Watching a cluster of storms in the Caribbean that may develop over the next few days.

 Saturday will be a much cooler day along with a gusty wind. Clouds will increase on Sunday ahead of rain on Sunday night into Monday.  It will remain chilly thru much of next week.

 Clouds will build on Monday along with cool temps. Then warmer air will come into the area for mid week along with windy conditions. Temps will cool late in the week, but it will still be above normal.

Monday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a high of 53. NW wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Monday night: Mostly cloudy with temps holding in the upper 40's. 

Election Day: Mostly sunny and windy. Highs in the low 70's. Go and Vote! 

Wednesday: Record warmth again possible. Sunny and windy. Highs in the mid 70's.

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the mid 60's.

Friday: Sunny with highs in the 60's.

Tropics: A projected Tropical  System in the Caribbean will track into the Gulf Of Mexico and will likely impact the Gulf Coast later this week. Stay tuned!  

A Cooler Weekend

 The weekend will be cooler but with sunny skies. Saturday will be in the mid 50's with a NW breeze. The coolest day of the next stretch will be on Sunday when high temps will struggle to reach 50 degrees. But record warmth is again possible by the middle of next week.
