 Another cool day is likely on Wednesday with a few passing showers. Temps will warm a bit on Thursday before cooling down again on Friday. And some weekend rain looks likely as well.

Cooler Days

A cold front came down from the north today leading to a cooler afternoon. Now, the cold will continue to come into the area along with some showers. As temps will be well below normal. It should eventually warm up by Thursday.

 Monday will be another nice day with sunny skies and warm temps. Then a cold front will lead to cooler and cloudier conditions for a few days. More warmth and sunshine is  likely for the end of the week.

Weekend Forecast

 Saturday will be a nice day with sunny skies and a sea breeze. A warm front will bring scattered showers on Sunday morning before skies clear out for the afternoon. And temps should warm up away from the coast early next week.

 A Freeze warning has been issued for tonight as temps crash to below freezing overnight. Then Thursday will  be chilly and sunny. Temps will gradually warm up over the next few days.

Scattered Showers

 A strong cold front will bring scattered showers and storms to the area on Wednesday. Behind the front cold air will come into the area. That will lead to widespread temps at or below freezing along with a gusty wind. Temps will finally recover again by the weekend.

More Rain

 More rain is expected over the next couple of days. On Wednesday a few showers are likely in the evening, but it shouldn't be too heavy. The heavy rain and wind come in late  on Thursday and last into Friday.

Eclipse Day Forecast

It won't be great viewing across most of the path of totality of the Solar Eclipse. However, it will be in New England as mostly sunny skies are expected.  In Boston it will be about 93 percent of totality and the height of it will occur around 330 PM. After the eclipse is over Tuesday looks like another nice day before more widespread rain to end the week.

Storm Update

A strong nor'easter will impact the area over the next few days. Rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow are all likely during the storm.  The wind will be damaging as well. The height of the storm will be Wednesday night. And minor to moderate coastal flooding is also expected.

 A powerful nor'easter will impact the region from  Tuesday evening thru Thursday. The storm will bring rain, snow and wind. It appears to be mostly rain in the Boston area, although some snow and sleet will mix in. And the wind will be damaging as well.
