Clouds Dominate

 Clouds will continue to cover the sky over the next few days along near average temps. Some precip is likely late in the week, but most of the time will be dry.

Drying Out

 After another snow disappointment, it will dry out over the next few days. Temps on Tuesday will fail to reach freezing, but they will eventually rise above normal over the next few days.

 Snow has fallen over the past several hours, but has failed to stick here in Boston. Now, snow will continue to into Monday morning with minimal accumulation. It will turn colder behind the storm.

Storm Forecast

 The storm will arrive in the morning and last through Monday.. It appears that it will flip back and forth between wet snow and rain on Sunday with little accumulation. As the sun sets it will flip to all snow and las through most of Monday. The snow will amount to a few inches in Boston with more to the NW. And the wind could gust last 40 MPH as well.

Another Storm

 Another storm is on the way for Sunday into Monday. During the day on Sunday it will go back and forth between rain and snow with limited accumulation. By Sunday night it will be cold enough fo4r all snow and it will amount to several inches by Monday afternoon. It will also be windy as well.

 Rain will fall overnight, but should  end by the morning drive. And by the afternoon temps should rise into the 50's along with dry conditions. More rain is likely Thursday night into Friday before a colder storm by Sunday.

 It now appears that the dry air to our north will win out on Friday, leading to only light snow with minor accumulations. Then Saturday will be the coldest day of the Winter so far before temps finally rebound next week.

 Another storm is on the way, but it is a tricky forecast. It now appears that warm air will slide up the coast and allow snow to change to a wintry mix. But, a few inches of snow appear likely before the changeover. But, just a slight delay in the warm air will make a big difference in how much snow we get.

 A strong cold front will cross the area on Sunday leading to scattered snow showers and squalls. It will lower visibility and may lead a quick inch or 2. Behind the front cold  air will come into the area and there is a chance for more widespread snow on Tuesday.

 Yet another powerful storm will hit the area from Tuesday evening thru Tuesday night. It will bring  snow, rain and damaging winds. It may start out as a brief burst of snow, but will quickly change to pouring rain. The height of the storm appears to be from midnight to 6 AM on Wednesday morning. Yet another major storm is likely by the weekend.

 Well, as of 10 PM it is 38 and the precip has started as rain here in JP. So, at this stage just a mix of rain and wet snow is expected overnight with very little accumulation. But I expect rain to change to snow tomorrow that will amount to a few inches in Boston. The next storm to focus on arrives late on Tuesday with heavy rain and maybe hurricane force winds!

 A powerful nor'easter will impact the region from Saturday evening thru Sunday. Snow will arrive in the evening and in some places it will snow all the way thru the day on Sunday. But, in Boston I expect it to mix with rain at times cutting back on accumulations. But, just a degree or 2 could make a huge difference in how much snow falls in JP. The cold on Friday will set the stage for our first snowstorm of the season. The snow should arrive after dark on Saturday and it will last through Sunday. However, rain may mix in with the snow at times cutting back on Snow Totals just a tad in Boston.  But, just inland it should remain all snow and pile up quite a bit.
