 Wednesday will be cold and sunny day along with light winds. Thursday will also be tranquil before a bitter blast comes into the area. Friday and Saturday will feature cold temps and strong winds leading to dangerous wind chills. \

Historic Cold?

A cold front will cross the area tonight leading to snow showers late that may leave a coating. Then over the next  few days cold air will gradually come into New England. Then by Friday and Saturday historic cold is likely. As temps will fall well BELOW 0  Friday night along with strong winds leading to dangerous wind chills. And temps on Saturday will struggle to rise above 0. Stay tuned for more details!

 Monday will feature more clouds and and rain or snow shower at night. Tuesday and Wednesday will be colder, before a dangerously cold airmass comes into New England by the end of the week and upcoming weekend.

Weekend Update

 Temps will once again be above normal along with increasing clouds and a risk of an evening shower. Monday will also be warm before a cold front brings scattered rain and snow Monday evening. Colder air will come in midweek and arctic air is possible by the end of the week.

 Another powerful storm will impact the region on Wednesday. Snow will arrive by early afternoon and become heavy at times by the afternoon commute. It will amount to a few inches before changing to a windswept heavy rain. And the rain could lead to localized flooding by the Thursday morning commute. Also, the wind could  gust to 50 MPH in SE MA.

More Snow

 After a quiet Tuesday another storm will impact the area on Wednesday. The snow will arrive in the afternoon and it will snow heavily for a while before a changeover to rain overnight. The rain  should come to an end by Thursday morning.

Snow Update

 It started as snow briefly in Boston, but has changed to rain. I expect it to rain through the night and into the early hours of Monday. But, as colder air comes down from the north rain will change to snow. It may snow hard for a few hours on Monday afternoon and evening.. I expect it to amount to a few inches in Boston. Another major storm is expected by Wednesday.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for parts of Central  and Western MA.

Monday; Rain until 10 AM, then snow. Temps falling to 32 by 4 PM. North wind of15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH Total snow amounts of 2-4 inches expected in Boston .

 Clouds will hang tough through Sunday as the next storm heads towards the area. It will start as rain in Boston on Sunday evening and rain will last into Monday morning. Then, as colder air comes down from the north rain will change to snow and it may amount to a few inches on Monday afternoon.
