 A powerful storm will track to our west bringing us heavy rain and damaging winds to the area on Wednesday afternoon and evening. Rain may cause some brief urban flooding and winds will cause some power outages. By Thursday skies will clear but it will remain windy.

Tonight: Increasing clouds with temps near 35 early, but rising to 42 by dawn. South  wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Wednesday; Cloudy in the morning, then heavy rain in the afternoon. Windy with a high of 58. South wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH. 

Wednesday night; Heavy rain until 9 PM, then gradual clearing. Windy with lows in the low 30's. South wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH, changing to West at 20-30 MPH with guts to 45 MPH. Total  rainfall of .5-1 inch expected.

Storm Wednesday

 Tuesday will be the clam before the storm as High Pressure takes control. Then a powerful storm will bring downpours and damaging winds to the area on Wednesday. The height of the storm will be in the afternoon and evening. Winds may cause some damage and rain may cause some localized flooding. Stay tuned for more updates!

US Weather: Buffalo, NY is expecting 4-6 FEET of snow over the next few days. As a result, they have moved the Buffalo Bills football  game on Sunday to Detroit.

 A weak front will lead to a blustery and cold Thursday along with a passing sprinkle or flurry. Friday will also be chilly and windy leading into a cold weekend.

Snow Update

 It now appears that the storm will track further north, pushing the snow further  north. That means it will be mainly rain in the Boston area Tuesday night into Wednesday. It will remain cold behind the storm.

The Week Ahead

 A wintry week is ahead with below normal temps and a chance for our first flakes of the season. Monday will be cold and windy along with sunny skies. Clouds will then increase on Tuesday ahead of our next storm. The storm will bring a mix of rain and snow to the area Tuesday night before changing to all rain by Wednesday morning. No accumulation is expected at this point in the city.

Storm Update

 Rain and wind have arrived this evening, and will continue overnight as the remains of Nicole come through. Showers and storms will continue through mid morning along with gusty winds. Then, skies will clear and temps will fall.

Saturday; Showers with scattered thunderstorms until 10 AM, then becoming mostly sunny. Temps near 72 early will fall to 63 by 4 PM. South wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH. Total rainfall around an inch.

Remains of Nicole Forecast

 When Hurricane Nicole makes it  to us it will no longer be tropical. However, it will still bring heavy downpours and wind to the area Friday night into Saturday. And some severe weather is possible as well.

Tracking Nicole

 Tropical Storm Nicole is expected to strengthen into a Hurricane tonight and hit the east coast of Florida before turning north and impacting all of the east coast. It will bring high winds and rain to New England Friday night into  Saturday morning.

Wednesday; Mostly sunny with a high of 53. NW wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Wednesday night: Clear with lows in the mid 30's. 

Thursday; Sunny and breezy. Highs in the mid 60's. 

Friday; Increasing clouds and wind as all eyes turn to Nicole coming up the coast. Highs in the 60's. Heavy rain and strong winds at night from Nicole. 

Saturday; Heavy rain and strong winds early, then some clearing. Highs in the 60's. Stay tuned! 

Sunday; Showers possible. Highs in the 50's.. 

Forecast Update

 A total lunar eclipse will occur tomorrow morning and it will peak around 6 AM. Then the next few days will be much cooler and sunny. Then Tropical Storm Nicole is expected to come up the coast and make a very close pass to New England by Saturday. Stay tuned!

Record Heat Ahead

 Sunday will be another amazingly warm day along with a passing shower and a gusty wind. More showers are possible on Monday, before clearing comes in the afternoon. Tuesday looks great, but much cooler as a cold front comes through. Then we may need to watch a potential tropical system late next week.

Monday; Scattered showers until 9 AM, then mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70's.

Extended ;Watching a potential tropical system. Right now it is located near Puerto Rico with a high chance of being named over the next few days. It is expected to impact Florida by the middle of the week before heading north. Stay tuned!

 An amazingly warm weekend is ahead with mainly sunny skies. On Friday temps will reach the low 70's with a SW wind. Saturday will also be warm before the height of the heat Sunday into Monday.

 Thursday will be a bit cooler than today with sunny skies. Then temps will soar into the 70's for Friday into the weekend. And the sun will shine all weekend as well.

Warm Days

Amazing warmth for November is ahead over the next several days. On Wednesday temps will approach 70 degrees along with sunny skies. After a brief cooldown on Thursday, record heat is likely over the weekend. Temps could approach 80 degrees in some areas!

Tropics; TS Lisa is expected to become a Hurricane and hit Central America with flooding rains. And TS Martin has formed in the North Atlantic and is expected to  become a Hurricane and head towards Iceland as a major storm in a few days.
