Storm Forecast

 A powerful storm will track to our west bringing us heavy rain and damaging winds to the area on Wednesday afternoon and evening. Rain may cause some brief urban flooding and winds will cause some power outages. By Thursday skies will clear but it will remain windy.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for all of Southern New England for Wednesday afternoon through Thursday

Tonight: Increasing clouds with temps near 35 early, but rising to 42 by dawn. South  wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Wednesday; Cloudy in the morning, then heavy rain in the afternoon. Windy with a high of 58. South wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH. 

Wednesday night; Heavy rain until 9 PM, then gradual clearing. Windy with lows in the low 30's. South wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH, changing to West at 20-30 MPH with guts to 45 MPH. Total  rainfall of .5-1 inch expected. 

Thursday; Sunny and windy. Highs in the mid 40's. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH.

Friday; Sunny and less windy. Highs in the upper 40's.

Storm Wednesday

 Tuesday will be the clam before the storm as High Pressure takes control. Then a powerful storm will bring downpours and damaging winds to the area on Wednesday. The height of the storm will be in the afternoon and evening. Winds may cause some damage and rain may cause some localized flooding. Stay tuned for more updates!

US Weather: Buffalo, NY is expecting 4-6 FEET of snow over the next few days. As a result, they have moved the Buffalo Bills football  game on Sunday to Detroit.

 It now appears that the storm will track further north, pushing the snow further  north. That means it will be mainly rain in the Boston area Tuesday night into Wednesday. It will remain cold behind the storm.

Clouds will then increase on Tuesday ahead of our next storm. The storm will bring a mix of rain and snow to the area Tuesday night before changing to all rain by Wednesday morning. No accumulation is expected at this point in the city.

Tracking Nicole

 Tropical Storm Nicole is expected to strengthen into a Hurricane tonight and hit the east coast of Florida before turning north and impacting all of the east coast. It will bring high winds and rain to New England Friday night into  Saturday morning.

Wednesday; Mostly sunny with a high of 53. NW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Friday; Increasing clouds and wind as all eyes turn to Nicole coming up the coast. Highs in the 60's. Heavy rain and strong winds at night from Nicole.

 A total lunar eclipse will occur tomorrow morning and it will peak around 6 AM. Then the next few days will be much cooler and sunny. Then Tropical Storm Nicole is expected to come up the coast and make a very close pass to New England by Saturday. Stay tuned!

Amazing warmth for November is ahead over the next several days. On Wednesday temps will approach 70 degrees along with sunny skies. After a brief cooldown on Thursday, record heat is likely over the weekend. Temps could approach 80 degrees in some areas!

Tropics; TS Lisa is expected to become a Hurricane and hit Central America with flooding rains. And TS Martin has formed in the North Atlantic and is expected to  become a Hurricane and head towards Iceland as a major storm in a few days.
