The next few will all be great with sunny skies, low humidity and comfy temps. A front finally arrives by the end of the Holiday weekend bringing a threat of showers.

Thursday night :Clear and chilly. Lows in the mid 50's in Boston, but some 40's in the suburbs.

Forecast Update

 A cold front will come into the area first thing Wednesday morning leading to showers,, storms and a gusty wind. Behind the front temps temps and humidity will crash leading to a great stretch of weather through most of the Holiday Weekend.

Tonight: Showers with scattered thunderstorms late. Humid with a low of 73. South wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.  

Wednesday; Scattered showers and thunderstorms until 8 AM, then becoming mostly sunny. The humidity will drop throughout the day. High 87. Wind changing to West at 15-25 MPH. 

Wednesday night: Clear with lows in the low 60''s. 

Thursday: Sunny and comfy. Highs around 80.

Friday; Sunny with highs in the low 80's. 

Saturday; Sunny with highs in the low 80's. 

Sunday; Showers or storms possible. Highs in the 80's. 

Labor Day; Clearing with highs in the 70's.

The Week Ahead

 Monday and Tuesday will be both be dry and hot before a front arrives on Wednesday. Cooler air will come into the area behind the front into New England to end the week.

Tropics Update;  A cluster of storms in the Central Atlantic is expected to develop and head towards the Bahamas in  the next week or so. Stay tuned! 

Weekend Update

 Sunday will feature some clouds breaking for sun along with a sea breeze. Then temps on Monday and Tuesday will rise into the 90's before a front arrives on Wednesday.

Weekend Forecast

 Storms rattled the area this afternoon as a cold front came through. Now, High Pressure will take control for the weekend. And temps will struggle to reach 80 on Saturday along with low humidity. Sunday will also be nice.

Scattered Storms

 A front will bring scattered severe thunderstorms to the area on Friday afternoon. Then skies will clear for the weekend. And temps will cool back closer to normal.

Friday; Partly sunny with areas of fog in the morning, then scattered showers and severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. High 90. SW wind of 15-25 MPH. Some storms may bring damaging winds and large hail.

Friday night: Scattered showers and severe thunderstorms until 9 PM, then clearing. Still humid with lows in the upper 60's. South wind of 15-25 MPH. Some storms may bring hail and damaging winds. 

Saturday; Sunny and less humid. Highs around 80.

Clearing Skies

 After storms hit parts of the area today, skies will clear and temps will rise. As temps will will reach the mid to upper 80's with sunny skies on Wednesday. Thursday also looks good before a front arrives on  Friday.

The Week Ahead

 A warm front will bring much needed rain to the area on Monday afternoon and evening. More showers are possible on Tuesday before clearing for the end of the week.

Monday; Cloudy until 2 PM, then showers with scattered thunderstorms. High 73. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Tropics Update: There are signs that the Hurricane season is about to come to life over the next couple of weeks. So far we have had only 3 named storms, and they have all be relatively weak Tropical Storms. Stay tuned!

 Sunday will once again be hot, but the humidity will be higher. A front may bring a few showers on Monday and Tuesday, but not as widespread as first thought.

Nor'easter Forecast

 A powerful nor'easter will impact the region on Wednesday. It will bring rain and gusty winds to the area, with the height of the storm in the morning. And it now looks like the strongest wind and heaviest rain will fall in the eastern half of MA.

Wednesday; Rain. High 67. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Total rainfall around an inch.

Storm Possible Wednesday

A powerful storm will come up the coast and make a close pass to the area on Wednesday However, it is unclear on how close it may come. As one trustworthy model hammers us with inches of rain and high winds. Meanwhile another model says just a sideswipe with some rain and wind. Stay tuned for an update on Tuesday.

Cooler Days

   A shower or 2 is possible on Thursday as a low pressure area comes through. Then skies will clear for the weekend and the humidity will continue to lower.
