Tropics Update; Subtropical Storm Wanda has formed in the Central Atlantic this evening. No threat to New England at this point.

 A storm will bring rain and some wind to the area on Saturday. Then skies will clear for Halloween and it will be warm.

Another Storm

Yet another storm is on the way for Saturday but it won't be as strong. Rain will arrive after midnight on Friday night and continue off and on through Saturday. And it will be windy, but not as windy as the nor'easter that hit a few days ago.

 A powerful storm will continue to impact the area overnight. As the wind should gust up to Hurricane force in some areas. The wind should cause major damage in some locations as well. The height of the wind will last into Wednesday morning.

Nor'easter Forecast

 A very powerful nor'easter will impact the area over the next 2 days. The storm will bring heavy rain, damaging winds and big waves. The height of the storm will be Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning. Power outages are expected-even in Boston.  I highly suggest staying off the roads tomorrow night.

A High Wind Warning is in effect for the Boston area from 2 PM Tuesday until 2 PM Wednesday 

A Flood Watch is in effect for all of the Boston area 

A Wind Advisory is in effect NW of route 128 

A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for the coast

Nor'easter Ahead

 A powerful nor'easter will impact the area Tuesday into Wednesday. The storm will bring damaging winds and flooding rains. The height of the storm appears to be from Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday midday. Some coastal flooding is possible as well.

Historic Storm?

Sunday will be the calm before the storm with sunny skies and fall like temps. Then a powerful nor'easter will likely impact the area. The height of the storm appears to be Tuesday into Wednesday. While there are still multiple solutions on the table at this point a historic storm is possible. Stay tuned for more updates over the next few days.

A Dry Weekend

 Cooler air is finally coming into the area this weekend. The weekend  looks dry but next week several storms will impact New England.

Thursday will be a amazing Fall day with sunny skies and very warm temps. A front may bring a shower on Thursday night and skies should clear again for a pleasant Friday. The weekend looks cooler at this stage.

 Another great stretch of weather is ahead of us with sunny skies and warm temps. As it will rise well into the 70's and may approach 80 again by Thursday.

 Monday and Tuesday will be similar with a mix of sun and clouds and fall like temps. Then temps will once again rise above normal by the end of the week.

 More clouds will be in the sky on Friday but it will still be a warm day. Then a powerful cold front will cross the area on Saturday. However, most of the day looks dry. By Saturday night showers and storms come into the area. The rain should come to an end by Sunday morning.

 Another great Fall day is in store for Wednesday with sunny skies and warm temps. The warmth will peak on Thursday and Friday will be dry as well. Then a strong cold front could bring showers, storms and wind by the weekend.

US Weather: A major early season Blizzard is hammering the Rocky Mountains with 2 FEET of snow possible in some areas. And the wind may gust up t0 70 MPH in some areas  as well. 

A Warm Week

 Marathon Monday will feature a mix of sun and clouds along with some humidity. Then skies will clear and temps will soar way above normal.

Thursday; Sunny and very warm. Highs possibly nearing 80!

Tropics; Watching several areas that may develop over the next few days. 

A Cloudy Weekend

 A front crossed the area earlier today and that will lead to a cooler and cloudy Saturday. Then a potential Tropical System will make a close pass late on Sunday. At this point just some  showers are likely. And it should dry out for Marathon Monday.

Close Call

 A backdoor cold front will cross the area on Friday leading to a cooler overnight  and Saturday. It will be cloudy and breezy as well. Then we need to watch a potential tropical system on Sunday into Marathon Monday.

Friday; Mostly sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. Temps near 70 at Noon will fall to 58 by 5 PM. Wind changing to NE at 15-25 MPH.

Drying Out For Game

 More rain is expected to fall overnight and will last into Tuesday morning. Clouds will linger into the night but it should be dry for the Sox game at 8 PM. The sun then returns for the end of the week.

New England Weather: Freezing fog was reported on Monday morning in parts of Northern New England.

 Saturday will be a nice Fall day with sunny skies and nice temps. Clouds will increase on Sunday but it should be mainly dry through the Pats big game at about 8 PM in Foxboro. But, heavy rain is likely Monday into Tuesday.

Hurricane Sam; Sam now has winds of 150 MPH and will make a close pass to Bermuda tonight and may graze Newfoundland early next week. The major Hurricane will bring us strong rip currents and rough seas.
