This is my forecast for the upcoming Hurricane season .The season runs from June 1st through November 30th.

Review of Facts

A Tropical (TS) needs winds of at least 39 MPH to be given a name

Hurricane Categories:

Category 1 Winds of 75-94 MPH.

Category 2: Wind of 96-110 MPH

Category 3:  Winds of 111-129 MPH

Category 4; Winds of 130-155 MPH.

Category 5: Winds of 156+ MPH

Note; The National Hurricane Center( NHC) will use a 5 day cone with winds and positions of the storms. I will use their forecast on my blog.

New England Review; While we got some remains of storms here in New England we did not get nay any direct effect of storms.

Total Storms: 13

Hurricanes; 8

Major Hurricanes: 4

Us Landfall: 5


2019 Forecast of Tracks:

Storms early in the season will form near the coast and may effect the US that way. Later in the season storm will form off the coast of Africa and travel across the Atlantic.


2019 New England Forecast :

Storm will form off the East Coast and make a close pass to New England. .

Boston forecast :

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a low of 55.

Saturday; Mostly sunny with highs near 68 in Boston and 77 inland. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday night: Partly to mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50's.

Sunday; Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Highs in the low 70's.

Monday; Partly sunny with highs in the mid 70's.

Weekend Forecast

The sun will finally return on Friday along with temps in the 70's. Saturday is nice as well before showers arrive by Sunday afternoon.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Showers. Low 58. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Friday; Mostly sunny with a high of 73. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Friday night: Clear with lows in the mid 50's.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70's.

Sunday; Showers likely by dark .Highs in the upper 60's

Monday; Showers linger. Highs in the 60's.

Forecast Update

Thursday will again feature a lot of clouds and cool temps;  However, skies should clear for Friday and Saturday before more showers by Sunday.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Any showers fade to cloudy skies. Temps holding near 50..

Thursday; Mostly cloudy with a high of 65. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Thursday night: Showers. Lows in the low 50's.

Friday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70's.

Saturday; Sunny with highs in the low 70's.

Sunday; Showers likely. Highs around 70.

Cool And Rainy

Tuesday will be a cool and rainy day as an area of low pressure comes into the area. Wednesday will also be col and cloudy. Some improvement is likely by Thursday.

Boston forecast :

Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 50.

Tuesday; Mostly cloudy in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. Temps near 58 in the morning will fall to 53 in the afternoon. East wind of 15-25 MPH.

Tuesday night; Rain early, then scattered showers late. Temps holding in the low 50's. Eats  wind of 15-25 MPH.

Wednesday; Mostly cloudy and cool. Highs around 60.

Thursday; Partly  sunny with showers and thunderstorms possible. Highs in the mid 70's.

Friday ;Sunny with highs in the 70'.s

Warmer Sunday

A front w ill bring showers and scattered thunderstorms to the area tonight but it should clear by morning. As Sunday will be s sunny and warm day. Memorial day looks nice before more rain by Tuesday.

Tonight: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Low 60. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high of 88. SW wind of 15-52 MPH.

Sunday night: Clear wilt lows in the upper 50's

Memorial Day; Sunny wit highs in the low 70's.

Tuesday; Showers .Highs in the low 60's.

Wednesday; Showers possible. Highs in the 60's.

Weekend Update

Saturday will be a nice day with sunny skies and warm temps. A front will bring showers to t the area Saturday night before it dries out for Sunday. The holiday looks nice as well.

Saturday; Mostly sunny with a high of 75. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday night: Showers and scattered thunderstorms. Low in the upper 50's.

Sunday; Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80's.

Monday: Sunny with highs in the low 70's.

Tuesday; Showers likely. Highs in the 60's.

Long Weekend Forecast

Scattered showers and storms will cross the area tonight before some drying comes into the area on F Friday. The long will weekend will  feature mainly dry and warm weather.

Friday; Partly to mostly cloudy and windy. High 65. North wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Friday night: Clearing with lows around 50. 

Saturday; Partly sunny with highs around 70. 

Sunday; A PM  storms possible. Highs in the low 80's. 

Memorial Day; Sunny with highs in the 70's. 

Scattered Showers

 A front will bring scattered showers to the area on Thursday. More rain is likely on Friday as another front comes through The long weekend may offer more wet weather.

Thursday; Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. High 70. SW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Thursday night: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Lows in the mid 50's. SW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. 

Friday; Scattered showers. Highs in the mid 60's. 

Saturday; Partly sunny with showers likely in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 70's. 

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the 80's. 

Memorial Day; Sunny with highs in the 70'.s 

One More

Wednesday will be another nice day with sunny skies and less wind. A front may bring scattered showers by Thursday afternoon into Friday morning. More showers are possible over the long holiday weekend.

Tuesday will he a cooler and windy day behind the front. Wednesday will be nice as well before more rain later in the week.

Tuesday; Mostly sunny and windy. High 68. West wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Tuesday night: Clear with lows in the mid 40's. 

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60's. 

Thursday: PM rain likely. Highs in the 60;s. 

Friday; More rain likely. High around 70. 

The Week Ahead

A strong cold front will bring scattered severe storms to the area on Monday afternoon. Any storms could bring damaging winds and hail. Skies will clear for mid week before another chance of rain by the end of the week.

Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Low 60. SW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Monday; Partly sunny with scattered showers and severe thunderstorms. High 85. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Some storms may bring damaging winds and hail. 

Monday night: Any storms fade to clear skies. Lows in the mid 50's .

Tuesday; Mostly sunny and windy. Highs in the mid 60s' .

Wednesday ; Sunny with highs in the upper 60's. 

Thursday: Showers possible. Highs in the 60's. 

Friday; Showers likely. Highs in the 60's. 

A Nice Weekend

Both weekend days will finally be nice with sunny skies and comfy temps. Some heat may come into the area early next week.

Wednesday will feature some sun and warmer temps.  Then a weak front will bring a shower threat on Thursday and Friday. It should dry out for the weekend.

A Spring Nor'easter

A nor'easter will bring a mix of rain and snow along with gusty winds to the area tonight into Tuesday; It should to begin to dry out by Wednesday before another chance of rain by the end of the week.

Tonight: Rain that may mix with snow at times. Low 38. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Tuesday; Showers .High 45. NE wind of  10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Tuesday night: Low clouds and fog with mist and drizzle. Lows around 40.

Wednesday Partly sunny with highs in the mid 50s.

Thursday; Showers possible in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 50's.

Friday: More rain possible. Highs in the 50's.

The Week Ahead

After a surprise wintry mix hit the area today more wintry mix is possible over the next few days. On Monday rain will arrive by the end of day and continue overnight. And it may mix with snow at times. It will warm up  b y t he end the week.

Monday; Mostly cloudy until 4 PM, then rain. High 50. North wind of 15-25 MPH.

Tuesday; Periods of rain. Highs in the low 40's.

Wednesday; Showers possible Highs in the mid 50's.

Mother's Day Forecast

Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms and thanks for checking out my blog.;A storm will make a close pass to the area on Sunday leading to scattered showers and cool temps. Then a more powerful storm will bring rain and wind to the area early next week.

Weekend Update

I have not had a chance to post over the past few days because of a few injures. I should now be able to post more often. As for the weather Saturday will be the pick o the weekend with sunny skies and comfy temps. Clouds will increase on Sunday before a storm arrives early next week.

Skies will clear for Wednesday and it will be another nice day. Clouds will increase on Thursday an the next storm will arrive by Friday. .

Warmer Days

Tuesday will finally be a warmer day but a showers will arrive in the afternoon as a cold front approaches. Wednesday will be dry before more rain by the end of the week.
