A warm front will cross the area tonight leading to warmer Sunday. As temp will rise into the 50's along with some sun. Monday will also be warm before a cold front comes through by Tuesday. The next storm is possible on Wednesday.

Snow has started in Boston this evening and keep falling into Friday morning. A few inches seem likely. And then Friday afternoon will feature clearing skies and colder temps. Friday night will be very cold and then Saturday will be chilly and sunny. Temps will warm on Sunday.

Happy Thanksgiving!
The rain fell most of the day here in Boston with some sleet mixed in. And the sleet did coat the ground in the Boston area. Now as the precip ends colder air will come back into the area leading to some snow that may coat the ground. And some places inland did receive several inches of snow. Looking ahead Thanksgiving day will be cold with a flurry possible. Then an other weak area of low pressure may bring a bit of snow Thursday night into Friday morning.

Storm Update
A nor'easter will hit the area with rain, snow and wind on Wednesday. It will start out as rain in the morning and gradually change to snow in the afternoon. And some sleet is possible as well during the transition. The snow will fall heavily in the evening before tapering off overnight. It seems that a few inches of snow is possible in Boston. However, it will be a very close call. And at least 6 inches will fall in inland locations and some may receive close to a foot of snow.

Tuesday will be another mild day with temps nearing 60. Then a powerful nor'easter will hit the area on Wednesday. At this point it looks like it will start out as rain in Boston in the morning before gradually changing to snow by late in the storm. A few inches seem likely in Boston with more snow inland. Snow Update
Rain has started this evening in the Boston area and will gradually change to snow over the next few hours. The wet snow will continue into mid morning and may accumulate in some areas. After the snow ends, skies will clear and temps will remain cold. The weekend will also be cold, but it looks like a rain event at this point for Monday.

A Nice Veterans Day
Veterans Day will be another nice day with sunny skies and temps nearing 60. Then a powerful cold front will cross the area on Wednesday with rain showers possible. Colder air will come in behind the front and some snow is possible by Friday.

Storm Update
Rain will continue off and on through Sunday morning. And as colder air works in it will mix with snow at times. But, no accumulation is expected. Also, the wind will continue to increase through the day on Sunday. Clearing will come into the area on Monday and temps will rise to near 50. Sunny skies will last through midweek.

A High Wind Warning is in effect for the north and south shores, Cape and Islands.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for the rest of the Boston area.
A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for the Coast.

Tonight: Periods of rain mixing with snow late. Low 35. North wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Set your clocks back 1 hour at 2 AM. No snow accumulation expected in Boston.
Sunday: Rain and snow in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. High 40. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Sun sets at 436 PM.
Sunday night: Clearing and very cold. Lows around 30. NW wind of 15-25 MPH.
Monday: Mostly sunny with highs around 50.
Election Day; Sunny with highs in the upper 50's.
Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the 60's.
